Comprehensive Eye Check-up
We don’t only test the clarity of your vision during comprehensive exams, we look at your eye health as well. We look at all aspects of your eye more thoroughly compared to routine eye check-ups.
As many eye and vision problems have no obvious symptoms, getting a regular appointment will help you prevent and treat vision loss early.
Here are the seven steps included in your comprehensive eye exam:
Computerized Eye Exam
Our experienced doctors will check the clarity of your vision using an auto-refractor.
Patient History
You will answer questions regarding your health history for a more accurate assessment.
Visual Acuity
You will describe how well your eyes focus and detect detail in eye chart tests.
Ocular Health Exam
We will check your internal and external eye health and how your eyes perform independently.
Retinoscopy
Here, we’ll see how your retina reflects light. This will determine if you need vision correction.
Subjective Refraction
We will manually check the optical power of your eyes to verify the initial results and get the most accurate prescription for you.
Patient Counseling
We’ll explain what your results mean and give you recommendations on what to do next for better vision.
