Zeiss Innovation Summit 2023

Zeiss recently conducted its Zeiss Innovation Summit last April 21 and 22, 2023, in Singapore.

Soliman Paroli Eyecare sent four delegates to attend the Zeiss Vision Summit. The attendees were Dr. Virgilia Soliman-Paroli, our founder and current CEO of Soliman Paroli Eyecare, inc, Dr. Pius Paroli, Dr. Mark Paroli, and Dr. Michael Paroli.

The summit showcased some of Zeiss’ achievements throughout the years, such as developing the readily available finished Freeform Single Vision Lens, which they called Clearview. Years ago, Freeform lenses needed longer waiting times, but because of Clearview, it can be done as fast as 20 minutes.

Another technology they showcased is the Photofusion X, which they claim to darken 2.5x faster, clears up more quickly, and appears more clearly than some famous photochromic brands.

Some other things they showcased were the Visucore Machine for vision examination, the addition to Zeiss’ Smartlife age portfolio, Zeiss Individual 3, and a thorough discussion on Aberrations and about Zeiss’ plans on slowing down the Myopia of children.
