Elevating Specialty Eye Care: Dr. Mark Paul Paroli Achieves BCLA Fellowship
At Soliman Paroli Optical, our primary advocacy is ensuring that patients in Central Luzon have access to the highest global standards of vision care. We are pleased to announce that Dr. Mark Paul Paroli has been awarded the Fellowship of the British Contact Lens Association (FBCLA).
This prestigious fellowship was formally conferred during the BCLA Asia 2026 conference, held in partnership with the Japan Contact Lens Society at the Takanawa Gateway Convention Center in Tokyo in May 2026.
What the BCLA Fellowship Means for Our Patients
The FBCLA is a globally recognized credential awarded to practitioners who demonstrate a significant, evidence-based commitment to the field of contact lenses and anterior eye health. For our clinic, this represents a clinical benchmark that directly benefits the community we serve.
Integrating the latest international protocols into our daily practice allows us to offer targeted, customized solutions for complex ocular conditions that go beyond standard vision correction.
Clinical Expertise and Advanced Interventions
Our practice utilizes advanced lens technologies to safely manage a wide range of clinical diagnoses. Dr. Paroli has systematically managed hundreds of specialty lens fittings, with clinical focuses including:
Myopia Control: Utilizing Orthokeratology (Ortho-K) to safely slow the progression of near-sightedness in children and young adults.
Corneal Ectasia Management: Custom-fitting Rigid Gas Permeable (RGP) and Scleral Lenses to restore functional vision for patients with keratoconus and other corneal irregularities.
Ocular Surface Disease: Prescribing specialized scleral lenses that provide a continuous fluid reservoir to protect and heal the cornea in patients managing severe dry eye syndrome.
A Commitment to Central Luzon
Vision impairment significantly impacts daily quality of life, and patients with complex corneal conditions often face challenges in finding specialized care close to home. This fellowship reinforces our core advocacy: delivering world-class, patient-centered contact lens interventions locally in Central Luzon.
We remain dedicated to advancing our clinical protocols and investing in evidence-based care to help every patient achieve optimal ocular health.
